5786: The Year of the Marked Bride-The Fearless Witness

Updated: Oct 10

(updated 10/10/25)

On the morning of October 1st — on the threshold of Yom Kippur, which began at sundown that day I awoke from a dream.

I believe the timing and symbolism is extremely important and intentional. I have never had a dream that dripped with so much weight and spoke so loudly as this one.

This dream was not just about a day but is a prophetic commissioning for the year of

5786. The bride of Christ is being called to liberation, awakening, encounter and ascension.

Yom Kippur Quick Facts:

  • Yom Kippur = “Day of Atonement.”

  • It is the holiest day on the biblical Hebraic calendar

  • It comes once a year on the 10th of Tishrei, closing out the 10 “Days of Awe” that begin with Rosh Hashanah.

  • The High Priest entered the Holy of Holies — the only day of the year this was allowed.

  • He offered the blood of the sacrifice on the kapporet (mercy seat) to atone for his sins and the sins of the people.

  • Two goats were used: One was sacrificed (blood for atonement). The other was the scapegoat (azazel) — symbolically bearing the sins of the people, sent away into the wilderness.

  • It was a day of cleansing, repentance, covering, atonement, and reconciliation

  • Jesus is both the slain Lamb whose blood atones (Hebrews 9:12) and the scapegoat who carried our sins away (Isaiah 53:6).

  • Romans 3:25 calls Him the hilastērion — the mercy seat itself.

  • Through His blood, God’s wrath against sin is pacified and we are reconciled to Him.

DREAM SUMMARY:

On 10/1, the morning of Yom Kippur, I woke from a dream. At first thought, the dream felt negative, almost like a nightmare, but the symbolism was too strong for me to ignore and I knew that it was the Lord’s invitation for me to dig deeper.

Sitting in 530:

The dream opened with me sitting in my white BMW 530xi (important symbolism).

I, Keshia, represented the Bride of Christ in the dream (and obviously I am apart of the body of Christ, so I don't imply to be exempt here.)

(Note: I know that in some cases cars can represent personal assignment & ministry (although I've seen various other symbolism's for cars) and I know that it was my actual car in real life, but I believe that because I represented the body of Christ, the car spoke to the corporate assignment & ministry of the Ekklesia at large.)

Two Men Wrestling:

Right outside of my car, I noticed two men wrestling over a gun.

One of the men was a black man who represented the kingdom of darkness, and the other was a white man who represented the Kingdom of light/ Christ. (It’s important to note here that this was NOT about race but simply a reference to show the clash between darkness and light–as we wrestle not against flesh and blood Ephesians 6:12)

Somehow I knew that the man who represented darkness started off as a thief attempting to rob the other man, but in the struggle he “seemed to overpower” the other man who was representing Christ and he shot Him.

Room 305:

The scene then shifts to me sitting in a hospital room that was marked Rm. Number 305 (In Greek this number represents the word anabainó — meaning to ascend, to rise).

The wounded man entered the room with me, his white shirt blood-stained.. When He saw me, He smiled and said, “I’m glad you’re here.” He then went and sat on the floor at the foot of the bed (threshold/a representation of death and life) and He intentionally prepared Himself to die.

Instead of staying with Him (and sharing in His sufferings), I left to get help but never returned out of fear of being found as “a living witness”.

Cafeteria:

The scene then shifts and I’m in the hospital cafeteria with some familiar faces. I found a confidant (who represented Holy Spirit) who stayed close to me as I confessed my fear of being recognized by the killer.

The killer walked into the cafeteria, very haughtily, as if he was delighted and confident about getting away with his crime. He then scoured the room for anyone who looked like they could be “a witness”.

As I sat there in fear, I realized that I was wearing a fuchsia (red - blood, white- purity & purple- royalty) colored jacket which really stood out.  I also thought about my hair which was in a bun anchored with bobby pins. Out of fear of being marked, I loosened my hair, removing the Bobby pins and left to look for a place to throw the jacket away.

Discarding My Identity/Markings:

Together, my Confidant and I searched the hospital halls for trash bins. The Confidant (and Helper), had gone slightly ahead of me. She finally motioned to two thin grey bins. I opened the lid and inside were some baby items, including a retro style  pacifier (Kippur= pacify).

I placed the jacket inside, and hit a button thinking it would send them down a trash chute, but instead the bins were lifted up (ascended) on what looked like a conveyor belt and water and soap began to pour down from above over them, washing them

What I thought would be discarded was instead being cleansed.

DEEPER REVELATION OF THE SYMBOLS

This dream carried the weight of Yom Kippur and the commission into 5786.

▪️ THE THIEF AND THE GUN

The men wrestling over the gun represented the struggle over the power of death.

In the dream the thief seized the gun and, for a moment, appeared to gain power over death — but it was a set up.  In the natural, Christ did not disarm the killer — He allowed Himself to be overcome. Yet in the Spirit, His surrender was the disarming of principalities and powers, as Colossians 2:15 states: “Having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”

▪️ THE WHITE 530 BMW --MULTILAYERED (updated 10/10/25)

The car I sat in was a picture of purity, power, influence and ascension. I was seated inside of it, but I feared that this vehicle of power and influence would mark me. This is where much of the Bride has struggled.

BMW began as an aircraft engine company — designed for ascension. To sit in a BMW is to sit in something built for rising above. Yet in the dream, I was cowering.

I didn’t have a revelation of the position that I was seated in. We are seated in—heavenly places (Eph. 2:6), enthroned with Him far above the enemy, clothed with authority in Christ, yet shrinking back instead of confronting darkness.

Jesus said in Luke 10:19, “I have given you authority… over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you.”

NEWLY ADDED REVELATION (10/10/25) :

I was just impressed to look up if there was any significance in the specific model of bmw- a 530xi

530 in Greek (Strong’s G530) ἀπαντάω (apantáō) = “to meet, to encounter, to go to meet.”

This specific term is used in Matthew 25:6 - “Behold, the Bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!” (parable of the ten virgins).

Prophetically 530 speaks of a meeting, an encounter, or going out to meet the Bridegroom.

So, I sat in 530 before going up to room 305 (the place where I encountered Him)

The Bride (represented in me) was seated in a place of purity and power, positioned for ENCOUNTER. The very vehicle I sat in testified that I was being positioned to meet the Bridegroom.

In the next scene I entered Room 305 — the room of ascension, of fellowship in His sufferings, of rising with Him into resurrection life...

▪️ROOM 305--THE THRESHOLD OF ASCENSION

The number 305 in Greek is anabainó — to ascend, to rise. The wounded man entered with a blood-stained white shirt and went to sit down at the foot of the bed, representing the threshold between death and resurrection. This mirrors Matthew 20:17–19 where it says, “Jesus went “up” to Jerusalem to be delivered over, crucified, and raised on the third day.”

Darkness didn’t take His life, even in the dream, He intentionally laid it down.

John 10:18 -“No one takes my life from me; I lay it down of my own accord.” So, what looked like defeat in the natural was actually the “doorway to ascension” and victory.

▪️THE BRIDE'S INVITATION AND FEAR

When the man representing Jesus smiled, He said, “I’m glad you’re here”.

This was an invitation into intimacy and the fellowship of His sufferings .  This scene was a representation of what Paul said in Phillipians 3:10-11: “And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of His resurrection working in me. I will be one with Him in His sufferings and become like him in his death. Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with Him in His resurrection from the realm of death.”

But fear made me flee from the invitation, from this encounter with the Bridegroom— symbolizing how the Bride often misses intimacy with Christ by shrinking back from the places where He’s most revealed.

His wounds serve as doorways into knowing Him more deeply. I sat in the room of ascension, but when suffering walked in I abdicated the place of partaking in it with Him

Romans 8:17 - “the heirs of His glory are also heirs of His suffering.”

▪️ THE FUCHSIA JACKET --THE BRIDE'S IDENTITY

The color scheme that made up my jacket represented blood, purity, and royalty. Fear made me want to discard it — to hide my witness, to not be marked.

But Hebrews 10:35 instructs us: “Do not throw away your confidence, which carries a great reward.”

The word confidence in that verse means: parrēsia — boldness, freedom to speak

▪️ HAIR IN A BUN ANCHORED WITH PINS

When hair is bound up (like in a bun), it can symbolize being consecrated, set apart, and hidden away. My bun was anchored by bobby pins — this was a symbol of being anchored in disciplines like prayer and devotion in private.

But out of fear of being recognized (marked as a witness),  I literally “let my hair down”.

▪️ SILENCING THE (BRIDE'S) WITNESS

The man who represented darkness was prowling to find and eliminate any witnesses. Acts 1:8 says, “You will be My witnesses” — witnesses is actually the word martys, the same root as martyr.

To witness is to lay your life down in allegiance to Christ.

And Revelation 12:11 lets us know that "we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, and we did not love their lives unto death.”

In the dream, I was doing the exact opposite.

▪️THE WASHING BIN & RETRO PACIFIER

Yom Kippur means “to pacify” or reconcile — Christ pacified wrath and reconciled His Bride.  Pacifiers, in the natural, soothe and lull to sleep. The fear of man pacifies us, silences our witness, and lulls us into slumber.

The fact that it was retro I believe also speaks to God cleansing us of old ways that have kept us on milk when we should be on solid food. I believe the washing of the pacifier was a trade of an old pacified faith for a refreshing  & restoration .

Ephesians 5:26–27 says:“that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the Word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious Bride.”

▪️ MY CONFIDANT & HELPER--HOLY SPIRIT

The Confidant who stayed with me represents the Holy Spirit. Even in my fear, He was near, guiding me away from destroying my identity and toward restoration. I was looking for somewhere to discard what marked me, but He went ahead of me pointing me to the cleansing bins.

Prophetic Commission for 5786

I believe the Lord is speaking clearly in this year of 5786 concerning His Bride.

This is a year of ascension — a call out of fear, timidity & shallow faith

into maturity, intimacy, and fearless witness.

  1. Rising in Authority over Darkness

This year, the Lord is calling us, the Bride of Christ, out of the place of cowering at the threat of evil. Fear has caused her to shrink back when she was already seated in power. But this is the year of ascension. We are awakening to the revelation of the Christ who has raised us up and seated us with Him in heavenly places, far above all rule, authority, and power (Eph. 2:6; 1:21).

He declared, “I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means harm you” (Luke 10:19).

The Bride is awakening to her true seat of authority and walking boldly, unshaken in the face of darkness.

  1. Maturity: No Longer Pacified by the Old

This is a year of growing out of childish pacification into bridal maturity. No longer lulled to sleep by fear or old ways, but washed and cleansed by the Word. Yom Kippur reminds us that the blood of Christ has pacified the wrath of God and reconciled us to Himself. The Bride is marked by His blood, called to walk in purity, consecration, and true allegiance.

He is calling His Bride out of fear and compromise, and into a deeper allegiance with Him.

In 5786, the 6 (Vav) prophetically points to the tent peg — a symbol of fastening and anchoring. The Bride must stop loosening her consecration out of fear and instead drive her pegs deep in devotion and identity. Vav also represents the joining of heaven and earth — a picture of the Bride anchored in her true position, seated with Christ in heavenly places , yet walking it out on earth with unshakable faithfulness.

She is marked by His blood, secured in purity, consecration, and allegiance, no longer swayed but steadfast.

  1. Encounter & Intimacy in His Sufferings

The Bride is being called into the deeper encounter and fellowship of His sufferings.

This is a year of deeper intimacy.

We are being invited to share in His sufferings, to embrace consecration and purity, and to know Him more fully through the places of weakness, reproach, and devotion.

This is a call  to remain in the room of ascension, to accept the invitation into deeper knowing, and to be anchored as one who belongs fully to Him.

Because “He’s glad we are here”

  1. Fearless Witness–The Marked Bride

Above all, this is the year the Bride must arise as His fearless witness.

The Lord is marking His Bride in this year of 5786. Marked by the blood, marked by purity, marked by royalty, marked by encounter, marked with power and authority, and marked by testimony. The enemy seeks to silence the witness, stripping the Bride of her testimony. but the Spirit is raising up a fearless Bride who will not throw away her confidence (Heb. 10:35), but will overcome.

The Lord is saying: “This is the year for the marked Bride to arise, fearless and unshakable, as My Ekklesia in the earth."

Revelation 12:11 says, “They overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto death.”

May the Bride arise with power, authority and BOLDNESS as fearless witnesses in the Earth, for such a time as this!

In Fervent Prayer,
